AFRICAN Boxing Union (ABU) heavyweight champion Joseph ‘No Pressure’ Chingangu says he intends to return to Exodus Boxing Stables. Chingangu was ditched by Oriental Boxing Promotions last week after the boxer claimed that the boxing stable had failed to promote his fights and opted to promote Zimbabwean heavyweight boxer Tamsanga Dube.Chingangu said that he had already spoken to Exodus Stables Manager Anthony Mwamba who was ready to welcome his former boxer. “I want to join Exodus Stables because it is one of the best stables in the country. I want to continue my career as a boxer and bring glory to this country,” he said. |

DEFEATED National heavy weight boxer Ackson ‘Kabobola’ Nyirenda has demanded for a re-match following his second round knock-out (KO) loss to Francis ‘Galagata’ Zulu over the weekend. Kabobola who lost his defence title to Galagata in a short lived bout at National Sports Development Centre (NASDEC) on Saturday accused the National heavy weight champion of using charms as he claimed his opponent was invisible in the ring.“I couldn’t see him in the ring usually I am very focused in the first round but I couldn’t see him in the ring,” he said. And Kabobola’s trainer, Charles Chabu who agreed with his boxer said he was not satisfied with the results of the fight and added that his boxer wanted the re-match to be staged in Kitwe at Arthur Davis stadium next month. “We want a re-match next month in Kitwe at Arthur Davis stadium; we are ready to organize everything. It was not a fair result because my boxer complained to me that he could not see Galagata in the ring so we had to stop the fight,” he said. Galagata’s trainer, Brian Ngoma refuted claims that his boxer had used charms in the fight adding that Kabobola was a coward. “I will tell you something Kabobola can not convince us that we did not win fairly, because my boxer was better than him. He gave him one or two punches in the face which totally confused his head,” he said.He welcomed the challenge for a re-match and promised that the Galagata would add further damage to Kabobola by going for a KO in the first round.
